Will be hosting the World Airline Sailing Championships (WASC) in 2014 on Sydney Harbour, Australia.



WASC 2014 will be conducted from the Royal Australian Navy Sailing Association (RANSA) clubhouse located in Rushcutters Bay.

Racing Calendar
  • Tuesday 7th Oct 2014: - Race Day
  • Wednesday 8th Oct: - Race Day
  • Thursday 9th Oct: - Lay Day
  • Friday 10th Oct: - Race Day finish by 16:00 

Up to six short course races will be programmed for each day of racing on Sydney Harbour.

Rushcutters Bay is centrally located on Sydney Harbour and is only a short distance from the Sydney CBD. It's an easy to get to location close to hotels, restaurants, city attractions with public transport at the doorstep. Rushcutters Bay is also the home of the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia (CYCA) which hosts the world famous Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race each year on December 26th.

WASC 2014 racing will be conducted in the Elliott 7 which carry four crew (helm, main, trim, bow). The Elliott 7 are part of the CYCA's match racing fleet.
